There is no job to large or to small. We are located in Washougal, Washington only 15 minutes from the Portland International Airport and we can ship to you any where in the world.

If you wish to ship your Big game or Small game trophy to us the hide must be skinned, fleshed and salted if possible to assure a quality mount in the end. We ask you to take horn or antler measurements if possible to assure us that your mount will look like you seen it in the field. Please call us so we explain to you how we would like to have it done to assure accuracy and contact us before shipping the specimen.  We do skin and reproduction fish mounts of all kinds. We ask that you take as many photos as possible at all different angles of the fish so we can use them for references when painting your trophy. If you wish to have a reproduction mount please take a total length measurement and a biggest girth measurement just in front of the dorsal fin. You can use a piece of string and tie a knot in it for the total length and girth measurements or use a soft tape and write down measurements. On skin mounts we ask that you keep the fish wet, wrap it in a paper towel, place Trophy in a plastic bag and take out as much air as possible before freezing or bringing to us. Before freezing you can tape 2 pieces of card board on each side of the tail so it won't be damaged being stored in the freezer or during shipping. Place the finished side of trophy up when placing it in the freezer.

No Bird Too Large or Too Small

Here at Washougal taxidermy we are licensed to do Federal migratory birds along with upland birds. There is no bird to small or to large and we can mount it any way you want it along with some great habitat. If you wish to ship your trophy we ask that you place the smaller birds head under their wing and slide them into a sock or nylon then place in plastic bag taking out as much air as possible before taping. This will help protect the birds feathers and it will protect the head from any freezer damage due to their thin skin. If you have a Pheasant we recommend that you take 2 long strips of card board and place on the top and bottom of tail feathers and then wrap with tape to help protect the long feathers. For larger birds like a turkey or a goose place head under wing and then wrap bird with cheese cloth or any other thin material and then place in plastic bag. These procedures will assure you a great trophy mount in the end.
